Fundraiser Wrap-up… Hadley Walters couldn’t wipe the smile off her face last Friday at Sherwood Forest Elementary School. Despite battling cancer, the 5-year-old’s smile was genuine, as the whole school showed up to greet and welcome her to her future school.
WS/FCS Cable 2 Photojournalist Kevin Wrenn was there for the heart-warming event and shares what the gesture by the school meant to Hadley.

Sponsor a Sparkle
For a donation of $20 per pinwheel, individuals, families and businesses can help fill the front of Sherwood Forest Elementary (Hadley’s big brothers Jackson and Harris’ school) with gold pinwheels. Each pinwheel represents hope, awareness and support. We will place each sponsored pinwheel for you and the display will run from September 24th (Hadley’s birthday) through October 24th which beautifully honors both Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and Hadley’s special day. If you wish to be acknowledged, sponsoring names will be displayed on each pinwheel.

If you would you like to purchase a pinwheel through Venmo and skip the form, this is for you. Simply scan the QR code and Venmo your pinwheel donation to @TeamHadley. Please list your name in the Venmo comment of how we should display it on the pinwheel so we can link the contribution.
